Childhood Cancer STAR bill introduced in Congress

EXCITING NEWS! Our Founder and her daughter went to Washington DC in June to convince Members of Congress to support our new Childhood Cancer STAR bill.  Last week, a large, bipartisan group in Congress listened and officially introduced the legislation in the House and the Senate.  We are making progress and you can help!
Below is the list of the Representatives and Senators who have already joined our cause as cosponsors of the STAR Act.
If you see the name of your Member of Congress, you could take a minute today to drop them a quick thank you note, email or thank them on social media for their support of the STAR Act. If your Members haven’t joined yet, that is OK.  We heard back from many Members of Congress who wanted to wait until the bill was formally introduced until they decided if they would cosponsor.

Now is the time!  Today, please send an email to your member of Congress.  Let them know the bill has been introduced.  Let them know we have strong bipartisan support in the House and Senate.  And most importantly, let them know that you, as a constituent, want their boss to join in as a cosponsor!
Together, we will get this bill moving!

Below is some useful information:  The bill numbers of the Childhood Cancer STAR Act as introduced in the House and Senate; the current list of bipartisan cosponsors in the House and Senate, and a sample email you can personalize to contact your Members today.

Many, many, many thanks! Together, we can make a huge difference for kids with cancer!
